When I try to run Minecraft with Forge already installed, one of two things happens. You should now see forge there with 3 mods loaded and 3 mods active when you get to the title screen, then again just quit game.ħ. Now use this profile (should now be listed in the 'profile' drop down menu) and run the game once.Ħ. Up at the top you can name this profile whatever you want and 'save profile'ĥ. Now with the new launcher (down on the bottom left) select 'new profile' and open the drop down menu of the 'use version' and scroll down and select '.xxx' (x meaning latest version you can find)Ĥ. Now double click that forge file you just downloaded and run it (install on client and hit ok) It should take 1/2 sec.ģ. Download the latest 'installer' version of forge.
